Dividends: Vale (VALE3) and Petrobras (PETR4) pay dividends this week     Investing.com – State oil company Petrobras and mining company Vale will distribute earnings to shareholders this week, both in the form of dividends to investors. While Vale makes the payment on Tuesday, the 19th, Petrobras will make the credit available on Wednesday, the 20th. See the cutoff dates to find out who is entitled and the values per share.   Vale (BVMF:VALE3) This Tuesday, Vale pays the dividends calculated according to the balance sheet of December 31, 2023, in the revised value per share of R$2.7385483741. The cut-off date for paying dividends to holders of shares issued by Vale traded on B3 (BVMF:B3SA3) was March 11, 2024, and the record date for paying dividends to holders of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on March 13, 2024, with payment starting on March 26, 2024 through the depositary agent for the ADRs, Citibank. Thus, Vale’s shares began to be traded ex-dividend on B3 and the NYSE from March 12, 2024.   Petrobras (BVMF:PETR4) Petrobras will pay on Wednesday the second installment of the amount of R$17.5 billion in dividends and interest on equity (JCP) announced in November last year, declared based on the balance sheet of September 30, 2023. The value per share of the second installment, which will be in the form of dividends, is R$0.68864344 per common and preferred share, after correction by the Selic rate. The cutoff date for receiving the proceeds was November 21, 2023 for holders of shares issued by Petrobras traded on B3 and the record date was November 24, 2023 for holders of ADRs traded on the New York Stock Exchange ( NYSE). Petrobras shares began to be traded ex-rights on B3 and the NYSE from November 22, 2023.
